The Thinking Maps® Training of Trainers (TOT) is a process used by schools and districts for the purpose of developing a team of Certified Thinking Maps® Trainers for expanding and deepening the use of Thinking Maps® in a whole district/school and/or within feeder patterns. Upon completion of the TOT, trainers will be able to:

• Lead introductory and ongoing workshops for whole schools
• Conduct systematic follow-up visits in each school
• Provide model teaching demonstrations in classrooms
• Facilitate the development of interdisciplinary applications with school, district, and state initiatives
• Lead schools in assessing student learning and action research using Thinking Maps®
